We use an online scheduling platform and if approved you will be sent a link to be able to sign up when available.
What Is Involved:
removing dirty bowls from previous feeding
replacing with fresh food, water, and chop
changing cage papers as needed
spot clean on cages as needed
load and start dishwasher
FAQ
Can I visit with the birds? Of course! It’s great for them to meet people and socialize.
What if I need to cancel? That’s ok! Life happens. Just let us know as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly. We appreciate all the help!
I have birds too - what about spreading of disease? We provide gloves if desired and ask that all volunteers wash their hands before beginning their shift. Feel free to dedicate an outfit entirely to when you are at the rescue. A For Flocks Sake shirt perhaps!
What times are available? We don’t have any particular set times right now, but if your each out we’ll work with both our schedules!
Will it be loud? Yes
Will it be fun? Also Yes!
