Who we are

For Flocks Sake Bird Rescue & Sanctuary officially began 2/27/26 but it’s makings were in progress even before that. Monica Hebert has a passion for birds and for giving them the best lives possible. After she and her husband began their bird journey with a little Sun Conure named Maria, the flock quickly grew. Their personal birds now include sun conures, cockatoos, an Amazon, a Macaw, Parakeets, and an Indian Ringneck.

Every situation is unique and given the utmost attention it deserves just as every bird is unique and deserves the most individual care possible. We provide each and every bird, whether ours or the Flock’s, a healthy diet of chop, premium pellets, treats, appropriately sized living quarters, proper enrichment, and of course plenty of interaction and love!
